What we collect

When you send an enquiry we receive your name, company, email address, phone number, project details and anything else you include in the form.

How we use it

Only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quotation or deliver work you ask us to carry out. Our lawful basis is your request and our legitimate interest in responding to it. We do not sell your details or use them for marketing.

Who handles it for us

Enquiries are sent to our inbox by our email provider (Cloudflare). The website is hosted by Vercel. These providers act only on our instructions. Where they process information outside the UK, they do so under safeguards approved under UK data protection law.

Spam protection

The enquiry form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that it is being sent by a person rather than an automated program. When the form loads, Turnstile receives technical information from your browser, such as your IP address and browser details, and uses it only to tell people from bots. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the form free of spam. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after 24 months. Records of work we carry out are kept for as long as contracts and law require.

Cookies

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and its fonts and images are served from our own site. The only cookie it sets is a strictly necessary session cookie when a member of our staff signs in to the website’s admin area; it is never set for visitors, so no consent banner is needed. If we add analytics we will update this notice and ask for your consent first.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing info@sandmelectrical.services. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
